Rasta Earth Festival 2011 | Judah Square, Nekkies - Knysna

Judah Square is the home of the Knysna Rastas, established in 1993 during the summer of love a small group of Rastafarians got together and decided to form their own community in the Nekkies location on the outskirts of Knysna. From its early beginnings in Nekkies to the present day in Judah Square it has always been a safe haven for the followers of Helie I Selassie I - Jah Ras Tafari!

Judah square is the administrative Rasta capital of the southern cape and once a year they arrange a festival that draws in Rastas from South Africa and abroad - The "Rasta Earth Festival". Currently rated 300 out of the worlds best festivals The Rasta Earth Festival showcases the Rastafarian way of life, the music, the food and the philosophy behind this sometimes mis-understood faith.

The I-in-I of Judah Square welcome visitors with open arms and open hearts.

Please note the use of alcohol, tabacco and drugs is prohibited in Judah Square we also ask that you respect our customs and lifestlye as we open our doors to welcome you. If you are unsure of anything please feel free to ask.
